We offer a natural, private setting for small events, day retreats, and workshops. We welcome schools, organisations, private clients, and professionals to use the estate grounds.

Group sizes vary depending on the season, the nature of each gathering, and the type of programme or event. As a general guide, the main house can host between 15–20 participants indoors, up to 50 guests seated indoors, up to 40 children for birthday parties, and up to 120 guests in outdoor settings, with the possibility of accommodating larger groups indoors and outdoors upon request, depending on specific needs.

DORO is also developing as a biodynamic, living agricultural ecosystem, producing natural bio products in harmony with the land. Hosting gatherings here is part of a wider cycle of care, regeneration, and connection with nature.

Venue Rental

DORO is a family place, not a commercial venue in the traditional sense. It has grown slowly over time and continues to evolve with care and intention.

Educational Events & School Visits

For schools and educational groups, learning unfolds through direct engagement with nature. Seasonal activities may include olive and grape harvesting, planting, and introductions to biodynamic and regenerative agriculture, guided by agronomists and educators.

Educational trail walks can also be arranged with local guides. Depending on each group’s needs, programmes can be co-created, or the estate can simply provide space for schools to deliver their own learning objectives in a natural setting.

Private Celebrations

Intimate gatherings such as birthdays, baptisms, private dinners, and family celebrations are hosted at the estate.

The estate can be transformed for almost any occasion — from themed dinners and wood-fired gatherings to live music, DJ sets, and dancing, with experienced planners able to bring a wide range of ideas to life.

Set in nature, celebrations can also include bouncy castles, picnics, and other activities designed for children and families. We can recommend trusted planners and caterers, while the final choice always remains yours.

Nearby churches are available for ceremonies, and group sizes are intentionally limited to preserve privacy and atmosphere.

Day Retreats, Workshops
& Team Gatherings

A setting for organisations, teams, and families to come together with ease, connection, and presence. Experiences may be co-created, supported, or independently led. Optional elements such as breathwork and guided walks can be included, often used in leadership and team settings to support focus and clarity.

The estate also hosts family business assemblies — gatherings for multiple generations of a family business to step away from work and connect more deeply as a family. We can suggest a flow and work with certified family business coaches, or provide the space for independent facilitation.

Wellness & Cultural Venue Hire

DORO offers a natural setting for facilitators, teachers, practitioners, speakers, musicians, and retreat leaders to host their own events.

The space supports a wide range of practices, including yoga, meditation, breathwork, personal development, communication and relationship work, as well as somatic, dance-based, cultural, and creative gatherings.

The estate house and grounds are available for independent facilitators and organisations to host retreats, workshops, and nature-based gatherings. The environment is designed to feel calm and restorative from arrival, offering space for rest, reflection, and renewal.

Curated Programs Hosted by DORO Estate

We host curated programmes, workshops, and gatherings rooted in wellbeing, holistic practices, personal growth, leadership, and communication, in support of healthier relationships and more conscious ways of living.

These experiences are shaped by direct engagement with nature and seasonal cycles, including biodynamic agriculture, and are developed in collaboration with selected facilitators, speakers, agronomists, and educators.
